Purecorea Co., Ltd. has been dedicated to manufacturing high-quality filters for domestic use since its founding in 2007. From the beginning, our primary focus was on developing reliable filtration solutions for households—and that focus remained consistent even after our incorporation.

After over 15 years of hands-on market experience and evaluation, we took the next step forward by developing our own water purifier, PURE BALANCE. Since its launch, the product has seen steady growth and positive reception in the market.

It was during this time of growth that we began to consider our next strategic move. Several ideas emerged: expanding our product line to include other kitchen appliances, acquiring emerging filtration technologies with long-term potential, or capturing global attention by tackling an issue that resonates on a worldwide scale.

Ultimately, we decided to develop a high-performance filter that would go beyond our existing domestic models—one capable of effectively addressing two of the most pressing water quality concerns today: microplastics and limestone (hard water) content.

Microplastics are ingested unknowingly on a daily basis. According to one study, the average person consumes approximately 5 grams of microplastics per week. This is a growing concern, as such particles could potentially lead to severe health issues—imagine the risk of microplastics blocking arteries or even reaching the brain in vulnerable individuals.

To address this, we are introducing a new multi-purpose filter (working title: Complex M Filter). This filter has been tested to remove 100% of particulate matter, including microplastics. Additionally, it uses Ion Exchange (IEX) resin to significantly reduce limestone (calcium) content in water, effectively lowering water hardness and improving overall water quality.

With this innovation, Purecorea is not just responding to current concerns—we are anticipating future needs and reinforcing our commitment to safe, clean, and advanced water filtration for a healthier world.
